14, 2003 Indianapolis -- Avant-garde filmmaker Don
Boner today announced that
primary production for his new feature Losers Lounge
has been completed. Jason
Jolliff of Jolliff Digital Production will
do all postproduction for the feature film shot in Indianapolis, Indiana, during
April and early May 2003. Losers Lounge is a murder mystery set in 1948 in the fictitious
town of Passionville, Illinois, just South and East of Chicago. Joey Ferdinando,
played by Brian
Talbot,
Indianapolis voice and screen actor, is an ex-cop and now works as a
private eye. Captain Morgan MacPhearson, played by Indianapolis stage and screen
actor Bob Charlock, canned him from the force in 1946 when he caught Joey
in bed with his wife. Lisa Losers, played by Vickie Smith, Indianapolis stage actress, runs
the lounge with the same name where seedy lowlife characters hang out. The
Lounge was a whorehouse during the war. A troubled and abused young lady,
Mariana Walker, played by Indianapolis stage actress Autumne
Sorgius, arrives at the Lounge
needing a job. After her murder Joey is the number one suspect since he was the
last person seen with her. Mayor Hermann Paxton, played by Bob Williams, Indianapolis stage
actor, tries to help Joey as the police and Sergeant Frank Monday, played by Kevin
Croak, Madison Wisconsin Television and screen actor, pursues him. Joey’s
sidekick Razor, played by Apollo
Bacala, Louisville
television, film and stage actor, tries to help Joey stay one step ahead of the
law. The victim’s boyfriend Speedy, played by Indianapolis television actor Frank
Kratoska, is roughed up by the cops and told to leave town. Barmaid and
ex-hooker Ginger, played by Indianapolis actress Laura
Parish, is very jealous of Joey for
taking Mariana home after a newcomer, Rich, played by Tim
Tyler, Indianapolis screen actor, tried to force himself on
Mariana. After being forced out of the Passionville Police force, Joey works trying
catch cheating husbands. His last client, Regina Cornelius, played by
Indianapolis screen actress Lisa
Lee, will do anything to get Joey to follow her husband, Erwin
Cornelius, played by Colin
Alexander, Indianapolis stage/television/screen actor. Erwin is
seen about Passionville with the shapely Martha, played by Cassandra
Schomer, Lafayette, Indiana,
television/screen actress. Meanwhile Joey runs into the victim’s Uncle Tom Walker, played by Robert
Griffin, Indianapolis stage-screen actor, who hangs out the
family’s dirty laundry. Plain clothes Policeman, Jason, played by Micah
Shane Ballinger, Muncie,
Indiana, television and screen actor, tries to help Joey by keeping his eyes and
ears open. Experienced crewmembers included Production Assistant Jenne Lee,
Assistant Director Faith Marie and Gerald Peterson, Sound, Editor
and Cameraman
