Indianapolis -- Avant-garde filmmaker Don Boner today announced that primary production for his new feature Losers Lounge has been completed. Jason Jolliff of Jolliff Digital Production will do all postproduction for the feature film shot in Indianapolis, Indiana, during April and early May 2003.

Losers Lounge is a murder mystery set in 1948 in the fictitious town of Passionville, Illinois, just South and East of Chicago. Joey Ferdinando, played by Brian Talbot, Indianapolis voice and screen actor, is an ex-cop and now works as a private eye. Captain Morgan MacPhearson, played by Indianapolis stage and screen actor Bob Charlock, canned him from the force in 1946 when he caught Joey in bed with his wife.

Lisa Losers, played by Vickie Smith, Indianapolis stage actress, runs the lounge with the same name where seedy lowlife characters hang out. The Lounge was a whorehouse during the war. A troubled and abused young lady, Mariana Walker, played by Indianapolis stage actress Autumne Sorgius, arrives at the Lounge needing a job. After her murder Joey is the number one suspect since he was the last person seen with her.

Mayor Hermann Paxton, played by Bob Williams, Indianapolis stage actor, tries to help Joey as the police and Sergeant Frank Monday, played by Kevin Croak, Madison Wisconsin Television and screen actor, pursues him. Joey’s sidekick Razor, played by Apollo Bacala, Louisville television, film and stage actor, tries to help Joey stay one step ahead of the law.

The victim’s boyfriend Speedy, played by Indianapolis television actor Frank Kratoska, is roughed up by the cops and told to leave town. Barmaid and ex-hooker Ginger, played by Indianapolis actress Laura Parish, is very jealous of Joey for taking Mariana home after a newcomer, Rich, played by Tim Tyler, Indianapolis screen actor, tried to force himself on Mariana.

After being forced out of the Passionville Police force, Joey works trying catch cheating husbands. His last client, Regina Cornelius, played by Indianapolis screen actress Lisa Lee, will do anything to get Joey to follow her husband, Erwin Cornelius, played by Colin Alexander, Indianapolis stage/television/screen actor. Erwin is seen about Passionville with the shapely Martha, played by Cassandra Schomer, Lafayette, Indiana, television/screen actress.

Meanwhile Joey runs into the victim’s Uncle Tom Walker, played by Robert Griffin, Indianapolis stage-screen actor, who hangs out the family’s dirty laundry.

Plain clothes Policeman, Jason, played by  Micah Shane Ballinger, Muncie, Indiana, television and screen actor, tries to help Joey by keeping his eyes and ears open.
