For Immediate Release: August 22, 2003 Indianapolis low-budget Avant-garde filmmaker Don Boner announced today that his controversial short film ‘Welcome to Kentuckian’ will be screened during the month of October at IUPUI’s monthly program sponsored by Student Life and Diversity Programs. The Program at IUPUI, is dedicated to exposing the student population to the diversity and quality of locally produced film/video productions. ‘Welcome
to Kentuckiana’ received a Special
Mention Certificate from the jury of Festival International Des
Champs-Elysees 2003. The Short 15
minute film is very edgy satire film
dealing with the absurdity of homophobia and stereotypes. The Film stars Robert
Charlock, Anna Vignola, Tim
Tyler, Steven Cole Johnson, and Joshua Ramsey with voiceover by William
J. Liederbach. Don Boner wrote and
