The Report selected as an Official Entry in the 2007 Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival

The World's Friendliest Film Festival" the 2007 Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival announced today that The Report a short movie written and directed by Indianapolis low-budget Avant-garde filmmaker Don Boner will be screened as part of the competition screening in Muskogee Oklahoma as part of the annual Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival April 23rd   through 29th , 2007.

 

"The World's Largest Little Festival: (BBIFF) is held in the "World's Friendliest City", Muskogee, Oklahoma, hometown of actors such as ROBERT REED (Brady Bunch) and CLU GULAGER (Veteran of over 60 movies and TV series).  The event is largest gathering of independent moviemakers, screenwriters, actors, directors and producers in the State.

 

The Report, is the most recent achievement by Indianapolis award winning low-budget Avant-garde filmmaker Don Boner, whose prior works include the short films Ripple,   The Bumbling Detective,   Welcome to Kentuckiana   and Losers Lounge his first feature and winner at the 2004 Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival (Best Film Noir) and screened at the 3rd Annual IU South Bend Independent Video & Filmmakers Festival and the Cherokee Film Festival in September  2004. He second feature Somewhere In Indiana  that premiered on December 3, 2004 at the Indiana Historical Society Theater in Indianapolis Indiana to almost 600 people, and distributed in USA and Canada by Echelon  Entertainment.

The Report is a semi-abstract narrative science fiction short movie about a government cover-up of evince of an advance civilization that sent a monitoring device to Earth over two million years ago. It shows the length the government is willing to go to keep the information secret and out of the public hands.

Mr. Boner commented, “I am delighted that the Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival selected The Report for competition screening.   The film’s acceptance is due the extraordinary talent and hard work of the cast and crew. It is an honor to be invited  back to the Bare Bones International Independent Film Festival in Oklahoma."  

 

The Report was shot digitally and editing was completed in October 2006 in Indianapolis Indiana.
